Electric vehicle fluids (e-Fluids)
We develop petroleum products including gasoline, diesel, and asphalt, as well as lubricants and base oil. We are also dedicated to developing products that enhance fuel and power efficiency, including e-Fluids specifically designed for electric vehicles.

Lithium-ion Battery Separator
We were the first in Korea to independently develop lithium-ion battery separators. We are also developing separators for various IT devices as well as heat-resistant separators for electric vehicle batteries.
Field of research and key projects at the Battery Laboratory

As a global leading player, SK On has been continuously working on battery R&D to keep up with the increased demand for electronic vehicles and stay abreast of technological trends. We also have been developing high-efficiency, high-capacity lithium-ion batteries to minimize air pollution. Moreover, we are working on securing the quality of electric power and the safety of electrical grids, and developing new renewable energy-linked energy storage devices.

SK On has been constantly investing in R&D to develop safe, fast, and durable batteries and has achieved much. Based on high energy density and safety technology, we are developing leading lithium-ion battery technologies as well as technologies for new businesses, such as BaaS (Battery as a Service). We are also developing next-generation batteries like lithium-metal-based all-solid batteries in order to support future growth and strengthen business competency.
With our safe technology, we will continue to make an effort towards leading the market and earning trust.
